From New York City: Take Hanry Hudson Parkway North towards Sawmill River Parkway North to the Taconic State Parkway North.Take Exit at 55/44 west towards Poughkeepsie to Route 9 north. Drive about 5 miles, and The Vanderbilt Motel will be on your right hand side.

If you are coming from I-87, Take Exit 17 from I-87 at Newburgh and follow sign for I-84 East. Take Exit 13 from I-84 at Route 9 North towards Poughkeepsie. Drive about 35-40 minutes, and The Vanderbilt Motel will be on your right hand side in Town of Hyde Park.

From Albany:  Take I-87 south and take Exit 19 and follow sign for Kingston/ Rhinecliff Bridge. Cross the bridge and take Route 9 south. Drive about 15 miles, and The Vanderbilt Motel will be on your left hand side in Hyde Park.
